ASU Recognizes Aliento for Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month!
This past week, Arizona State University recognized Aliento for Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month! We were recognized on the field of Sun Devil stadium during the ASU vs Stanford game!
(ASU of course won because of us, Reyna scored a touchdown)
Every year, ASU celebrates Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing an outstanding ASU Faculty Member, ASU Alumni, and a Community Organization committed to supporting ASU Hispanic and Latinx students!
This year’s honorees are: Provost Dr. Nancy Gonzales, ASU Alum Maria Echeveste, and Aliento with Reyna Montoya and Jose Patiño who are ASU Alum!
Access at ASU created a video with each honoree sharing what they love about their heritage!
We are so thankful and honored for the recognition! We are committed to continue supporting Latinx/Hispanic students. We cannot do it without our monthly sustainers! Become a monthly sustainer today by pitching in $5, $10, $25, or $50 today!
