Position Summary
Aliento is seeking multiple Arts & Healing Workshop Facilitators for the 2025–2026 school year! These workshops offer high school students a safe and welcoming space to explore healing, self-expression, and community-building through art.
Facilitators will co-lead workshops alongside a Cultiva Team Coordinator, guiding students through reflective prompts, mindfulness practices, and creative art-making activities that will be provided via our curriculum. More than just a teaching role, this is an opportunity to hold space for students’ stories, cultures, and imaginations.
Our Arts & Healing Workshops are offered in two different formats, depending on the school’s needs and schedule:
One-Day Workshop: 100-minute session(s), the amount of sessions depends on the teacher’s preference, but there are usually 1-3 sessions in one day.
Two-Day Workshop: 50-minute sessions held within the same week, depending on the teacher’s preference, but there are usually 1-5 sessions on Day 1 and Day 2.
For example, if a teacher has 5 classes, then we would be there for 5 sessions of 50 minutes for Day 1 and Day 2.
This is a flexible contractor position with scheduling designed to accommodate your availability. Facilitators will be informed of the schedule ahead of time in coordination with the Cultiva Team and classroom teachers.
