JULY 16, 2021 UPDATE: Texas Federal Judge Hanen has put the DACA program on hold. Renewals will still be accepted. Initial DACA applicants will be put on hold.

Renew your DACA
Do you need help with your DACA Renewal application process? We encourage you to renew at least 150 days before your DACA expiration date. Service is available nationwide!

Advance Parole Assistance
Advance Parole allows you to leave the United States for a temporary trip before returning. You may be able to travel for school, medical treatment, or visiting sick relatives. After returning from Advance Parole travel, you may become eligible to apply for a Family Green Card.

We offer art + healing workshops for those who have been impacted by deportation, detention, or the threat of family separation. Our workshops are intergenerational— for children (7 years+) AND adults who self-identify as undocumented, DACA, Dreamer, immigrant, migrant, or children of immigrants (from mixed-status families).
They are also bilingual (English and Spanish)

If you have submitted an initial request for DACA, it will remain submitted but will not be processed. The fee will not be returned to you. Currently, only renewals are being processed by USCIS.

Initial applications will not be approved, but you can still send them in. Our attorneys have advised it is up to your own discretion to submit. We will keep you updated if there are any updates.

When submitting your renewal, you must send TWO separate checks/money orders made to: US Department of Homeland Security. One of $85, and one of $520 (paper filing fee) OR $470 (online filing fee). In the Re/Memo: Write your USCIS # and your full name.

Yes, DACA renewals are currently available online on the USCIS website In order to send it for attorney approval, Aliento provides assistance with the physical application only.

If you file after your most recent DACA period expires, but within one year of its expiration, you may submit a request to renew your DACA. If you are filing beyond one year after your most recent period of DACA expired, you may still request DACA by submitting a new initial request. Please note that since initial requests are currently not being approved, there is a risk of losing your DACA status if you file for renewal beyond one year of expiration.
