We know it's been hard for undocumented to attain higher education, especially with the out of state tuition prices here in AZ. We've compiled a list of scholarships that are available to students, regardless of immigration status.

You’ve got questions, we have answers. Here’s a few of the most popular questions asked by our community.

  • Prop. 308 allows all students, including Arizona DREAMers, to receive in-state college tuition when a student (a) attended a high school school in Arizona or equivalent for a minimum of two years and (b) graduated from a public school, private school, or homeschool in Arizona or obtained a GED.

  • Undocumented / DACA students + returning students (DACA or undocumented) who attended an AZ high school or equivalent (homeschool) for 2 years and graduated from an AZ high school or obtained a GED

  • No, undocumented students are eligible. You must not hold a non-immigrant visa.

  • Prop. 308 is already in effect, in-state tuition should be reflected in your tuition rate if you qualify.

    Arizona community colleges and State Universities have their own guidelines, please refer to the links below for more information:

  • Ideally, everything will be updated and reflected automatically, but we suggest always meeting with advisor/financial aid office to make sure tuition is reflected accordingly.

  • Colleges and universities require a high school transcript or a GED to show residency and graduation. Contact your high school front office or counselor for more information on obtaining transcripts.

  • Yes, it applies to all programs and degrees at state universities and community colleges.

  • You must attend a high school in AZ for at least two years to qualify for in-state tuition in Arizona

  • Your tuition rate will reflect the changes as long as you are eligible

    Requirements: Attended an AZ high school school for 2 years and graduated from an AZ high school

  • As long as you went to an Arizona high school for 2 years and graduated from an AZ high school, you will qualify for in-state tuition in Arizona even if you went out of state.

  • Yes. We have a list of scholarships available for undocumented / DACA students, we will update it as we get more information. Click here to view scholarships.

  • Yes, you are eligible for local and state financial aid. You are not eligible for federal aid like FAFSA and Pell Grants.

  • We will be hosting trainings on Prop. 308 implementation in Q1 of 2023. If interested, please fill out this form.

  • Yes, you can apply under CSS profile, a need-based financial aid resources for Arizona’s public universities (ASU, NAU, UofA).
