We had our first Arts + Healing Workshop, "Piedritas de Amor"

This past weekend, we held our first Arts + Healing Workshop of the Spring 2020 season, Piedritas de Amor. During the workshop, we explored the theme of self-love by learning what our love languages are. We discussed the importance of identifying how we best receive love and advocating for ourselves in our relationships, whether it's with family, friends, or partners.

For the arts portion of our workshop, we painted reminders of our love languages onto rocks.  Folks painted different symbols, quotes, and scenes that held significance to them and represented. The piedritas de amor will hopefully serve as solid reminders of how we want to be loved, especially during difficult times. Here are some pictures captured during the event:
