Do’s:
Ensure the attorney is licensed to practice law in Arizona or another U.S. state.
Verify the attorney’s experience and area of expertise in immigration law before paying for a consultation.
Dont’s:
You do not need to pay an attorney to have them “on call.”
Do NOT give money to individuals who are not licensed to practice immigration law.
Be cautious of anyone promising they can get someone out of detention or secure citizenship in exchange for payment.
Avoid trusting guarantees or promises of specific immigration outcomes — no attorney or representative can guarantee results.
