Transforming trauma into hope & action — for a decade.

For 10 years, Aliento has supported Dreamers, first-generation students, and immigrant families in Arizona through leadership development, arts & healing, and education pathways.

We create spaces where young people can belong, thrive, and lead — regardless of their immigration status.

🎓 Education and Career Pathways

Support first-generation students, regardless of immigration status to access scholarships, persist college, and create a post-secondary pathway.

🎨 Arts & Healing

Support young people through creative programs to process trauma, build resilience, and agency.

🚀 Leadership Development

Develop and invest in the next generation of change-makers who will lead our nation.

🏠 Community Resources

Connect students, families, and community to wraparound services that enable them to thrive.

“I look back and feel immense gratitude for my parents' sacrifices, for my teachers who believed in me, and for organizations like Aliento that fight for students like me."

- Ignacio Parra, '25–'26 Fellow
