Position Summary

Aliento is seeking Education Facilitators to support Transform Education programming across Arizona. Transform Education creates welcoming, affirming, and informative spaces for students and families to access postsecondary resources, understand their options, and feel supported in their educational journeys.

Facilitators will support workshops, presentations, outreach events, and resource tables using provided curriculum and materials. Programming may focus on college access, financial aid, scholarships, admissions, college transition, Prop 308, resources for Dreamers, and family engagement. Candidates should be dependable, prepared, and comfortable engaging diverse audiences, including students, families, educators, and community members. You should communicate with warmth, clarity, and professionalism, and be comfortable creating spaces where Dreamers, children of immigrants, and low-income students and families feel seen and supported.

Subject-matter expertise in every education topic is not expected; facilitators must demonstrate a willingness to learn, prepare, accept feedback, and stay within the scope of their role.
