We've been hearing a lot over the Budget Reconciliation and immigration. Senate Majority Leader Schumer has released the framework for the $3.5 trillion budget bill. Senate Democrats added over $100 Billion for Immigration including legalization for Dreamers, TPS holders, Farmworkers, and essential workers!
Texas Federal Judge Hanen has put the DACA program on hold.
On Friday, July 16, 2021 Texas Federal Judge Hanen put on hold the DACA program, DHS may accept new DACA applications but it cannot approve new DACA applications. Judge Hanen has put the lives of thousands of Dreamers on hold. As of now, DACA Renewals will still be accepted and processed due to the injunctions from Batalla Vidal, which enables USCIS to accept and adjudicate a DACA application by anyone who has previously been accepted into the DACA program.

On June 15, 2021. The Senate Judiciary Committee began oral hearings over H.R.6 Dream & Promise Act. H.R.6 would allow nearly 650,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, as well as the 1.6 million eligible undocumented youth brought to America as children, a pathway to citizenship in the U.S.
SCR1044 - In-State Tuition for Undocumented / DACAmented Students Moves Forward In The House of Representatives
On May 5th, 2021, the Arizona House of Representatives moved forward with SCR1044 (32-29 vote count). SCR1044 will provide in-state tuition to all students who graduate from a high school in Arizona, regardless of immigration status.
